My life has has always centred around the written word - although it's no longer acceptable to sit in the tower of a jungle gym all day writing about dragons and castles, I was never willing to give it up.

I've turned my passion since childhood into a career and write on lifestyle topics for publications and organizations: literature, arts, culture, education, style, social issues, health and more.

My work has appeared in the National Post, Maisonneuve, the Huffington Post, Fashion Magazine and Quill & Quire among others.

I edit the Arts & Ideas section at This Magazine and am always looking for pitches about unique art and performance stories from across Canada.
